This notice explains what Easy Notes at easynotes.si collects, why, who processes it, how long we keep it and how you can delete it. You can read the free tool pages without an account. The studio needs an account, so much of this notice is about the studio.
Who is responsible
MAAVI LIFE PRIVATE LIMITED, Bangalore, Karnataka 560034, India is responsible for your personal data. For any privacy request, use the contact page. Our grievance officer is Om Bharatiya, who can be reached at coffeewithom@gmail.com.
What we collect and why
We collect the following, and use it only for the purposes listed under each item.
- Your email address, to sign you in with a one-time code and to send you job emails.
- Your age confirmation and the version of the terms you accepted, to show that the studio is open only to adults.
- The pages you upload (PDFs and photos), the text read from them and copies of the pages you chose, to make your notes.
- Your job details: what you type in the studio chat, your answers to its questions, the plan for your notes, every version of the notes, your tweaks and any exports.
- Quotes and payments: each quote and, for a paid job, the payment reference, amount and refund status from our payment provider. We never see card, UPI or bank details.
- Usage records: for each AI request, how many tokens were used and what it cost us, linked to the job. These records hold no page content.
- Sign-in tokens, kept in your browser so that you stay signed in.
We use this data only to run the studio, to make, show, change and deliver your notes, to bill and refund jobs, to email you about your jobs, and to keep the service safe and within its cost limits. We email you only about your jobs, for example when your notes are ready or a job fails. We send no marketing email.
The studio: uploads, notes and records
Your uploads, notes, chat and job records are yours. They are private to your account: there are no share links or public galleries, and each page of your notes carries a small “For personal study” mark. We never use your studio content for advertising.
Our team can open a job only to help you, to deal with a copyright or abuse report, or to look into a build that failed. We do not read your notes for any other reason.
How long we keep it
- Uploads, and the page copies and text made from them: deleted 30 days after you add them.
- Export files (PDF and PNG): deleted 7 days after they are made. You can make a new export at any time.
- Notes, versions, chat and the plan: kept until you delete the job or your Easy Notes data.
- Pages written for a job that fails: deleted about an hour after the failure.
- Usage records: kept for one year, then deleted.
- Activity records for a deleted job: removed no later than one year after the job is deleted.
- Quotes, payments, refunds and purchase records: kept as our financial records of each job. Once a job is deleted, these records keep only your account identifier, with no title, plan or notes.
- Your Easy Notes profile: until you delete your data or your account. After that we keep only a cleared profile with your account identifier, that day's usage counters and a one-way code made from your email address, so that deleting data or signing up again cannot reset the daily free limits. It holds no email address, notes or uploads.
Deleting your data
Delete a job from its menu in the studio. Its uploads, notes, chat and exports disappear from your account straight away and are then removed from our storage. Deleting your account on the account page first deletes all of your studio data in the same way. If the studio is not open to your account at that moment, we delete your studio data within a month instead.
A job that is still being built can be deleted once it finishes. A paid job that has not started is cancelled and refunded before it is deleted. The financial records listed above are kept. You can also ask us to delete your data through the contact page.
Age and children
Easy Notes is for adults. Only a person aged 18 or over may create an account. A parent or guardian may make notes for a child, but the parent or guardian holds the account, and it is their data we process. We do not knowingly create accounts for children.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it or delete it, object to or restrict some processing, and withdraw any consent you have given. You can see your account and delete it on the account page. For any other request, use the contact page. You can also complain to the data protection authority in India.
