Easy Notes is run by MAAVI LIFE PRIVATE LIMITED, Bangalore, Karnataka 560034, India (“we” in these terms). Our grievance officer is Om Bharatiya, Founder, who can be reached at coffeewithom@gmail.com. Questions about these terms go to the contact page.

You must be 18 or older to create an account or make a job. Parents and guardians may use Easy Notes to make notes for their children. The parent or guardian holds the account, pays for the job and is responsible for how the notes are used. Children must not sign in and use Easy Notes themselves.

Before your first job you confirm that you are 18 or older, and we record that confirmation together with the version of these terms you accepted, studio-terms-1.

An account is free and needs only an email address. You sign in with a one-time code we email you, so there is no password. Keep access to that email address, because it is the only way to sign in. An account is for one person: do not share sign-in codes or let other people use your account. We may close an account that is used to abuse Easy Notes, and we will tell you why.

The studio turns the pages you upload into study notes with an AI model. These terms apply to the studio on top of the rest of this page, and the privacy notice explains how your data is handled. Read the privacy notice.

Your uploads

Upload only pages that you own or are lawfully allowed to use, such as your own book, a copy you have bought or a library copy, and only for your own personal study. You keep every right you have in your uploads. You give us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, copy and process them, only to make, show, change and export your notes. That includes sending them to our AI provider as the privacy notice describes. We delete uploads 30 days after you add them. Do not upload personal records of other people, or material you are not allowed to share with a service provider.

Your notes

The notes made for you are for your own personal, non-commercial study. We claim no right to use them except to provide the studio to you. Your notes are private to your account: there are no public links or galleries. Do not publish, sell or distribute notes that reproduce material someone else holds the copyright in. Every page carries a small “For personal study” mark.

AI output can contain mistakes

The notes are written by Claude, an AI model made by Anthropic. The model follows your pages closely and adds short extra explanations marked in blue pen, but it can misread a page, leave out a fact or state something wrongly. Check important facts against your book before you rely on them, especially before an exam. The notes are a study aid, not professional advice of any kind, such as medical, legal or financial advice.

Academic integrity

Use the notes to study. Do not submit them, or text copied from them, as your own coursework, assignment or exam answer where your school, college, university or exam body forbids AI help or asks you to say that you used it. You are responsible for following the rules of your institution.

Fair use

Do not use the studio to make the AI model do anything other than make notes from your pages, do not upload unlawful material, and do not try to get around our limits, prices or checks. Daily limits on new jobs, quotes and exports apply to every account. We may pause new jobs for everyone for a while, for example during an outage. We may refuse or stop a job that breaks these terms. If you paid for a job whose notes were not ready, we refund it in full.

Each job has a fixed price, shown on its quote before you pay. The quote lists what is included and holds the price for 30 minutes. You pay once per job through Razorpay, our payment provider. There is no subscription, and nothing renews. Card, UPI and bank details are entered in Razorpay and never reach us. Prices are in Indian rupees and can change, but a change never affects a job you have already paid for.

The price includes the notes, PDF and PNG exports of every version, free colour and paper tweaks, and an edit allowance shown on the quote as “about N page edits”. Asking for an edit is free, up to 30 requests per job. Only the rewriting of pages uses the allowance. An edit that fails because of a problem on our side does not count against your allowance, for up to two such failures per job. After that, and for an edit that fails because of the request itself, the attempt uses the allowance. When the allowance is used up, further AI edits are not available for that job. Tweaks, restoring a version and exports stay free.

Do not try to break, overload or probe Easy Notes or its services, get around the sign-in or payment checks, or collect other people's data from the site. Do not use Easy Notes for anything unlawful, or to make material for resale.

If you hold the rights in material and believe Easy Notes is being used to infringe them, write to our grievance officer at coffeewithom@gmail.com with the subject “Copyright notice”. Include your name and contact details, the work you own, where the material is (for example the account email, a job link or a copy of the notes), and a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised, that the information in the notice is accurate, and that you are the owner or are authorised to act for the owner.

We acknowledge a copyright notice within 24 hours and act on a valid notice within 36 hours, usually by removing the job. We close the access of accounts that infringe repeatedly. If your job was removed and you believe that was a mistake, reply to our message with your reasons.

Easy Notes is offered as it is. We work to keep it available and correct, but we do not promise uninterrupted service or error-free notes. We may change these terms. The date at the top of this page moves when we do, and continued use after a change means you accept the new version. Material changes to how jobs are sold will be noted on this page.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for anything arising from your use of Easy Notes or a studio job is limited to the amount you paid for that job. Nothing here limits rights that consumer law gives you and that cannot be limited by agreement.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the courts at our registered place of business in Bangalore, Karnataka.
